Direct Match by Patient2Doctor
Post your case once. A private consultant comes to you. £50.
The cheaper option. You write what is wrong. A consultant reads it and takes your case. You each pay £50, and only then do you get each other's details. You message, meet, and agree the consultation fee between you.
Post your case
Posting is free. Nothing to pay until you choose to. Your name, phone and email are not shown to anyone until you and the consultant have both paid. Not for anything urgent: ring 111 or 999.
How it works
- You post your case. Free.
- Verified consultants in that speciality are told straight away. One reads it, without your name, and takes it.
- You pay £50. The consultant pays £50.
- Once both payments are in, you each see the other's name, phone and email.
- You message each other, meet up, and agree the consultation fee between you.
If only one of you pays, nothing is shared and that £50 comes back. Want it all written down instead, with named consultants and a signed letter? That is REFER, £495.
Only a verified consultant can take a case.
Dr Yogesh Patel checks every GMC number against the register by hand before anyone reads a patient's case. That check cannot be skipped, and a link on its own is not enough.
What to do
- Sign up with your GMC number and how you approach a case. It takes two minutes and costs nothing.
- Dr Patel checks the number against the GMC register himself.
- You get a private link to your own case feed, and this case will be in it if it is still open.
Nothing to pay to join, to be verified, or to read cases. £50 only when you take a case, and only once the patient has paid theirs too.
Why it works this way
A patient writing down what is wrong with them is trusting that the only people who read it are doctors. Letting anyone with a forwarded link claim a case would break that, so we do not.

Your £50
Before you pay, so it's clear
- Two payments, one each. You pay £50. The other side pays £50.
- Nothing is shared until both are in. Your payment on its own reveals nothing to anyone.
- Once both are in, this page shows you the other side's name, phone and email, and shows them yours. You message each other, arrange to meet up, and agree the consultation fee between you. Patient2Doctor has no part in that and takes no cut of it.
- If only one of you pays, nothing is shared and that £50 is refunded.
- This £50 is the introduction fee. It is not the consultation fee.
You don't need a PayPal account. Choose "Pay with a card" on the PayPal page. PayPal brings you back here when it's done. Payment goes to Dr Yogesh Patel, GP Partner, GMC 6064097.
Your payment
Thank you. PayPal is confirming it.
Usually within a few minutes. This page checks by itself, so leave it open, or come back to this same address later. Nothing is shared until the other side's £50 is in too.
Your payment
Your £50 is in.
Now waiting for the other side's £50. The moment it lands, this page shows their details, and yours go to them. Leave it open or come back to this same address.
Both payments are in
Here is who you're talking to.
They can see your name, phone and email too. Message or ring each other, arrange to meet, and agree the consultation fee between you. That is entirely between the two of you.
Introductions only. What happens at the appointment is between you and them.
That link doesn't match a case. Check the address you were sent, or post a case.
